Graduate students

Research areas:

  • Ensemble (urban) Flood/Drought Forecasting

  • Uncertainty Quantification, Data Assimilation, Optimization

  • Modeling and developing a fully coupled numerical model (tRIBS-VEGGIE-FEaST-Urban)

  • Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Surrogate Modeling

  • Remote sensing and SAR technology

  • Climate Change, Downscaling, and Future projection of extremes at global and local scales

  • Geomorphic/Climate internal variability and scale-dependent controls of hydrologic response

Eligibility:

  • Programming skills in Python, Matlab, R, C++, Fortran, etc.

  • Experience in numerical modeling like SWMM, HEC, MIKE, SWAT, VIC, etc.

  • Proficiency in English writing, reading, and speaking

Recruit position: Ph.D (or Combined Program)

Funding: Fully funded (admission fee, tuition, insurance, and living cost)
